About Denny

I'm Denny. I live in Shenzhen, China, and I run a small product studio called Wallnora. We don't have a big team or a fancy office — it's just a handful of people who like building things that people actually use. Most of our ideas start with someone in the room saying "wouldn't it be cool if..." and then we build a rough version and see if it sticks.

ColorByte AI happened exactly that way. My daughter, like most kids her age, burns through coloring pages faster than I can buy them. One weekend I threw together a quick tool to generate pages for her — type a prompt, get a coloring sheet. It was janky. The outlines were blurry, the proportions were weird, half the time the AI drew things with seven fingers. But my daughter didn't care. She colored them anyway. And I thought: if I can make this actually good, maybe other parents would use it too.

So I kept working on it. Nights, weekends, lunch breaks. Swapped out the model. Tuned the prompts until the outlines were clean. Added photo-to-coloring because a friend asked if she could turn a picture of her dog into a page. Built the coloring book generator because an Etsy seller emailed me saying she loved the single pages but needed 20 at a time. The online coloring tool came from watching my daughter spill a cup of water on a freshly colored page and burst into tears — sometimes the best features come from the worst moments.

About a year and a half in, ColorByte AI had quietly grown into something real. Five tools, 20 art styles, 30 categories, over 3,000 free pages, six languages. A small community of parents, teachers, and KDP sellers who actually depend on it. I still do a lot of the support emails myself, because hearing directly from people who use what you've built is the fastest way to know what's broken and what's missing.

When I'm not working on ColorByte AI, I'm probably working on Wallnora, our other product — an AI wall art generator that lets you create artwork and preview it on your actual walls before you order a print. It's a very different kind of tool, but the philosophy is the same: make something useful, keep it simple, don't overthink it.

If something on the site doesn't work the way you'd expect, or you have an idea for a feature, or you just want to say hi — my inbox is open. I read everything, even if I can't always reply the same day.
